My professional career began in the mid-90′s working as a System Administrator at Galaxy Star Systems — the first Internet Service Provider in Oklahoma. After deciding to attend Oklahoma State University, I moved to Stillwater where I began working for Creative Labs as Technical Support Agent. While working there, I acquired the valuable skill of troubleshooting, and my resourcefulness was noticed as I was promoted twice. Within 6 months I was prompted to Internet Programmer and then again to Internet Manger. It was during this time that Creative moved me and my family to San Francisco, California.
After a short 6 months, I was recruited by America Online to work as a Web Producer in their Small Business division. The turbulent tech ride began as technology companies began laying off people in droves. My next stop was at Palm, Inc. I worked as a contractor until I took another, more stable position as a Web Producer for Sun Microsystems. During the ups and downs of the tech bubble in the early 2000′s, I readjust my priorities and began focusing on more important things — family and helping people. My wife and I decided to move back from the Bay Area to be closer to our families so we could start a family. In 2003, we bought our first home, started a family and I began working for Stratmark/is7, a company who helps non-profits raise money online. After a couple years at is7, the president of Stratmark started a software company focused on providing a means to help non-profits succeed online and with my prior software experience I couldn’t wait to help.
